Property and Cancellation Policies :

CANCELLATIONPOLICIES

1. In case of cancellation, guests mustcancel booking before 3 weeks prior to the check-in date to avoid a full penaltyreservation charge.

2. In case of no-show, Aurora Villa will result in a full reservation charge.

3. In case of early departure, Aurora Villawill charge 100% of the room rate.

4. In the event of a debit or credit cardinformation error, invalid credit/debit card, or insufficient account balance,guests are solely responsible for the consequences.

5. We recommend that you carefully read theAurora Villa's cancellation, (pre-) payment, and terms of no show beforeconfirming your booking.

GENERALTERMS AND CONDITIONS

BOOKING POLICIES

CHILDREN

The Aurora Villa allows a child up to 6 years of age to stay for free using the existing bedding. Individuals above the age of 12 are considered as adults by the Aurora Villa.


EXTRA BEDDING

No extra beds available at the Aurora Villa REQUESTS All requests entered into the ‘Requests’ box on the Aurora Villa website booking engine are subject to availability and the Aurora Villa bears no responsibility should it be unable to fulfill certain requests.


ROOM OCCUPANCY

The total number of occupants in a room, including children,shall not exceed the maximum number of occupants permitted for the respective room types:

Deluxe 2 Queen Beds: up to 4 persons

Deluxe 1 King bed: up to 2 persons

If you have any questions or clarifications regarding the Aurora Villa 's Maximum Occupancy Policy, our staff will be happy to explain in detail. Please also note that the Aurora Villa reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional guest exceeding the maximum occupancy allowed for that room type.


CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT POLICIES

AGE REQUIREMENT Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to check-in. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The Aurora Villa reserves the right to check photo identification.


CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Unless otherwise stated in the specific rate plan terms& conditions, check-in time is after 3 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m.For early arrival before 3 p.m., it is recommended to pre-book the room one day in advance with a full day charge. The Aurora Villa may accommodate late check-out after 11 a.m. for an additional fee; subject to room availability.

GENERAL POLICIES

Breakfast

The Aurora Villa provide a complimentary American breakfast for two guests per room per night, the additional 3rd and 4th guests need to pay $10 extra fee for per room per night.


Shuttle Service

The Aurora Villa do not provide shuttle service of any sort, we can only help booking for a taxi or Uber. Guests need to make reservation two(2) or three(3) days in advance


Activities

The Aurora Villa have some activities on site when a promotion is available, guests need to sign a disclaimer for join in.


DAMAGE TO Aurora Villa PROPERTY

The Aurora Villa reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage or soiling, caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the Aurora Villa 's property or structure.


SAFE DEPOSIT BOX

Safe deposit boxes are not available, Please carry valuables with you, The Aurora Villa shall not be liable for the loss of money or other personal valuables during your stay.


PARKING

Free private parking is available on site


PETS

The Aurora Villa maintains a strict no-pets policy on its premises except for guide dogs


PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are not permitted in the Aurora Villa premises:

  • Animals of any kind, except guide dogs

  • Flammable, explosive or otherwise hazardous materials

  • Objects emitting a foul odor

  • Unregistered firearms or other weapons

  • Objects of an unusually large size or in unusually large quantities

  • Articles related to use in gambling, prostitution, smuggling or other illicit acts

  • Illegal drugs or other articles, the possession of which is prohibited by the laws of United States of America

The Aurora Villa reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest found to be in possession of prohibited items. Guests shall be solely liable and responsible for all loss financial or otherwise, and damage that maybe caused by such items.


VISITORS

In the interest of your well-being and security, all visitors are required to register at the Front Desk and are required to check-out by 11.00 a.m. Failure to check-out on time or having a late check-out without the approval from the front desk will result in $200 USD of penalty, which penalty fee is subject to change without notes. Please consult with the Front Desk or Reservation line to confirm the late check-out fee.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING POLICIES

TRANSPORTATION

Guests are responsible to decide their transportation options. If any guest is renting a vehicle for transportation, Aurora Villa highly recommend our guests to rent a AWD (All Wheels Drive) vehicle. The Aurora Villa is not responsible for any car accident nor damaged / stolen properties, regardless of inside Aurora Villa building or the parking.


EXCESSIVE NOISE AND PARTIES

T​o ensure all guests enjoy the comfort and safety of the facilities we offer, the Aurora Villa upholds a strict zero tolerance policy towards commotion, excessive noise and parties. Any person found to be on our premises creating excessive noise, having a party, exceeding the numbers of permitted guests or otherwise causing a disturbance will be asked to leave the Aurora Villa without any refund.


INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

Should any action by a guest, may it be towards our staff or otherwise, be deemed inappropriate by the Aurora Villa, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to our attention, the Aurora Villa reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest which may result in, but not limited to, being asked to leave without a refund for any services incurred.


SMOKING

The Aurora Villa is 100% of non-smoking rooms. There will be a $500 fee for thorough cleaning services charged to any non-smoking room that has been smoked in to restore it back to its original condition.

Reviews

Aurora Villa will not accept reviews which include:

  • Profanity, sexually explicit, hate speech, discriminatory, threats, violence

  • Mention of full names, personal attack towards the staff

  • Promoting illegal activities (e.g. drugs, prostitution)

  • Sites, emails, and addresses, phone numbers, cc details

  • Politically sensitive comments

PAYMENT POLICIES

CURRENCY AND TAX

Rates are in United States of America dollars and 8% Aurora Villa tax fee, unless otherwise stated.


CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORISATION

If you are using your credit card to guarantee your room reservation, the Aurora Villa may hold a full amount on your credit card prior to arrival. For non-refundable bookings, prepayment will be charged to your card prior to your arrival.


Deposit

A credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges. Deposit for each night will be collected prior to check in.


In the case of cancellation or modifications to reservations made through sources other than directly with the Aurora Villa or the Aurora Villa website, the Aurora Villa recommends that guests first contact their source of booking for assistance before approaching Aurora Villa staff.

• THERE WILL BE NO SMOKING INSIDE THE LODGE.

A $250 CLEANING FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR SMOKING IN THE LODGE. WE ARE VERY STRICT ABOUT THE NON-SMOKING POLICY. PLEASE NOTE THAT WINTER IN ALASKA IS VERY COLD AND SMOKERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SMOKE OUTSIDE. NO EXCEPTIONS


• KEEP NOISE TO A MINIMUM AFTER 10PM.


• PLEASE PARK IN UPPER LOT AREA .NO PARKING IN LOWER AREAS BELOW DECK.

DO NOT BLOCK OTHER CARS THAT ARE PARKED IN LOWER LOT AREA.


• FOR EASIER ACCESS TO UNLOAD YOUR LUGGAGE PULL DOWN THE DRIVEWAY HALFWAY TO THE LODGE ENTRANCE SIGN; FOLLOW SIGN TO THE DECK; CONTINUE AROUND THE CORNER OF THE LODGE TO LOCATE THE ENTRANCE.


• PLEASE BE CONSERVATIVE WITH WATER USAGE. ALL WATER IS HAULED TO THE PREMISES.


•PLEASE REMOVE YOUR BOOTS AND SHOES WHEN ENTERING LODGE.


• PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES AND LEAVE KITCHEN CLEAN.


• IF YOU ARE HOSTING AN EVENT SUCH AS A WEDDING OR GRADUATION (NO PARTIES) PLEASE SPEAK TO US ABOUT IT FIRST.


• IF GUESTS ARE FOUND TO BE HAVING A PARTY WITHOUT PERMISSION WHICH RESULTS IN EXTRA CLEANING OR EXCESSIVE NOISE GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE AND GUESTS MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.


• IF GUESTS ARE SUSPECTED OF CARRYING OR USING ILLEGAL DRUGS THE AUTHORITIES WILL BE CALLED AND GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY


• PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE PROPERTY AND FURNISHINGS INCLUDING LINENS AND TOWELS.


• PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.

How do I make modification on my reservation

You can contact us to make any adjustment unless you made the reservation from out sourced booking engines such as Expedia. Please note that you can only make modification or cancel your reservation before one month prior to your check-in date. 

Does Aurora Villa has any shuttle service

We do not own any shuttle at the Villa but we can help arrange taxi for pick up and drop off. For you convenience, you can call Josh at 907-377-2376 in case you need more than transportation from or to Aurora Villa. They are more another happy to help guests of Aurora Villa.

When is the check-in time

The check-in time is at 3PM Fairbanks local time, self check in is available for mid-night check in. You will be able to find instruction from the front desk upon arrival.

Will I be able to see the Northern Light

There is no guarantee that the Aurora will appear and we have no control of which direction it will appear, it is all depends on northern light activity and the weather.

What is the average temperature in Fairbanks

With an average of about 16.3 °C / 61.3 °F, July is the warmest month. January is the coldest month, with temperatures averaging -23.1 °C / -9.6 °F. We highly recommend you to visit our website for temperature checking or do a general research before your trip.

Any tips to view the northern light

Please notes that we have a 10 pm light out policy that every guests must either keep their room dark or close to curtains for reducing light pollution.

Do I have to rent a SUV if I choose to rent a car for transportation

An AWD vehicle is required to drive in and out the Villa's property, be ready to drive slow when driving on a snowy or muddy road.

What are the policies for staying or booking with Aurora Villa

is pets allowed at the Villa

We have a no pet policy that no pet is allowed, except for service dog which each reservation is limited to only one service dog.

How many rooms in Villa is allowed for smoking

We do not allow smoking within our property, guests who get caught smoking will face a penalty fee.

Which room has floor to ceiling windows

All of our rooms have floor to ceiling windows

Is there any suite available in Villa

All rooms are equally high quality that we do not have suite available. However, we do have a separated house next to our Villa called the V-Lodge that can be served as a suite.

How many room types does the Villa has

There are three: Single king bed room, Double queen beds room, and V-Lodge

What is V-Lodge

V-Lodge is a separated house located right next to our Villa which is around 10 meters apart. It is a traditional Alaska style wood house serving with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms while one of the bedroom is a master bedroom. Guest will book the entire house and not only part of them. Good for 6 guests. It does not have floor to ceiling windows but it has windows at different directions.

Is there a bathroom hot tub

We only have standard shower.

Is there any suite available in Villa
